Alan Jackson Makes His Return To The ACM Awards Stage With “Drive” And “You’ll Always Be My Baby”

In what was an otherwise uneventful night, how damn good is it to see Alan Jackson back on the ACM stage?

I mean, actual country music seemed to be few and far between last night, but when Big Al stepped up there, we had nearly 4 and a half minutes of the real thing.

Kicking it off with arguably his greatest song ever, Alan began the performance with “Drive” before launching into the newly released wedding song “You’ll Always Be My Baby.”

For me, it was unquestionably one of the highlights of the night. How the hell you gonna have an awards show without Alan Jackson in it?

And yeah, I said it.

Alan’s upcoming studio album Where Have You Goneis set for release on May 14th.
