We all know that Luke Combs can handle his business when it comes to delivering an exceptional cover.

And it doesn’t even have to be country. Of course, he’s killed plenty of country covers like Brooks & Dunn’s “Brand New Man,” but have you heard his Tracy Chapman cover for “Fast Car?”

Sheesh, it’s incredible.

Of course, we can’t forget his awesome cover of Ed Sheeran’s song “Dive” back in 2018.

I’m not gonna lie, I remember being skeptical when Combs first performed this cover, because you just never know how it’s going to translate. I can think of several failed attempts of country artists trying to cover other genres… especially a pop artist as good as Sheeran.

However, this one hit different. It’s like his voice can instantly transform anything into a great country song.

He later recorded it for a Spotify Exclusive.

Although, Sheeran’s also had some stints in the country world, writing songs for Kenny Chesney, collaborating with Chris Stapleton, writing with Americana artist Anderson East, as well as his collaboration with Taylor Swift for “Everything Has Changed” on Swift’s 2012 Red album.

But while we’re at it, let’s take a look back at some of Comb’s best covers:

“Tennessee Whiskey”
