Eric Church is releasing the first piece of Heart & Soul… Heart, on Friday and I’m ecstatic. The announcement of this project single-handedly saved my 2021 and it’s only gotten better since. Coincidence? I think not.
He recently released the funky, soulful track “Break It Kind Of Guy” from Soul and just put out a behind the scenes studio video of the track from his 28-day writing and recording marathon in the North Carolina mountains.
It was co-written alongside Casey Beathard and Luke Dick, and features Joanna Cotten absolutely tearing it up on the background vocals, per the usual.
Get excited because we’re only days away from the album AND a headlining arena tour is coming soon after…
