Brothers Osborne To Release “I’m Not For Everyone” As Next Single

Natalie Osborne

How good is this record?

Brother Osborne are a perennial favorite of mine, every album chock full of great songwriting and phenomenal musicianship. Their most recent release, Skeletons, seemed to get a bit overshadowed by the pandemic, but was easily one of the top country albums of the year last year.

One of the immediate standouts for me was “I’m Not For Everyone,” which just so happens to be their next single. Written by John and TJ, along with Luke Dick and Natalie Hemby, it also features John on lead vocals in the second verse.

Here’s a taste of the chorus:

“I’m like scotch, and Zydeco bands
I’m b-side Townes Van Zandt,
I’m always speakin’ my mind when I’m better off bitin’ my tongue
I’m a bad joke, at the wrong time
hell, I’m a legend in my own mind
I’m good for some, but I’m not for everyone.”

“I’m Not For Everyone” is set to impact country radio on April 26th.
