Remember when that video went viral last night of former Oakland Raiders offensive tackle Bruce Campbell getting absolutely obliterated in a fight at Wal-Mart?
Well, he didn’t…
The guy in the green tank top actually wasn’t Bruce Campbell at all. I know, I know, I hate to be that guy to kill the mood, but you gotta know the facts.
In the video, you see a massive guy in a green tank top trying to pick a fight with some other dude in the self-checkout line at Wal-Mart. Not gonna lie, the video fooled me, because the man could definitely pass for a pro football player, but it turns out it was just some random dude.
It appears the green tank top guy is the one who initiated the fight, yelling several obscenities to the other guy. Finally, the man has enough, and goes all out, throwing some windmill punches. Now if you look at the size comparison, this is some David and Goliath type stuff. I would’ve put my money on green tank top, but the guy actually got his ass WHOOPED. And to add insult to injury, he allegedly was sent to the hospital with a broken jaw.
Perhaps the funniest part of the video though, is the two women commentating the fight. They were doing predictions on who was gonna win before the fight even started. After all of the things I’ve seen at Wal-Mart, nothing surprises me anymore.
I just feel bad for Bruce Campbell though. According TMZ, he isn’t happy about being linked to this video:
“No that was not me. No, I did not get my jaw broken. As you can see right now, I’m just enjoying fatherhood.”
Campbell is trying to pursue a career in coaching, however this video probably isn’t going to help him.
“That definitely hurts my potential at getting a coaching job anywhere.”
