Jon Pardi Releases Live Performance Cover Of Keith Whitley’s 1992 Hit, “Somebody’s Doin’ Me Right”

It’s time for another great live release from Jon Pardi’s Rancho Fiesta Sessions.

The California kid just released a performance video of Keith Whitley’s, “Somebody’s Doin’ Me Right,” coming to us live from his shop at his house. Written by J. Fred Knobloch, Paul Overstreet and Dan Tyler, “Somebody’s Doin’ Me Right,” was released posthumously in 1992 as the second single from his Kentucky Bluebird record.

An ode to one of the greatest voices country music has ever seen, Jon Pardi pulls it off as well as anybody. In fact, Pardi covers ’90s country about as well as anybody in the business.

If you haven’t had a chance to give Rancho Fiesta Sessions a listen, I’d say you’re gonna wanna go and do that ASAP. There are several amazing covers on the album, and we’re talkin’ everything from George Strait and Joe Diffie, to Tom Petty, Dwight Yoakam and more.

And if you haven’t heard Keith Whitley’s original version (how dare you), give it a listen to0…. he’s country music royalty.
