The hard seltzer fiasco continues. Will it ever end? Do we not have enough?
So far we’ve seen PBR come out with hard tea, Luke Bryan came out with his hard seltzer, and Truly now has an extra hard seltzer.
On top of all of this madness, White Claw now has announced a release of hard tea seltzer. Just pour some bourbon in your tea and call it a day, folks…
They are now offering a 12-pack variety pack with the flavors of Lemon, Raspberry, Mango, and Peach.
John Sea, chief marketing officer for White Claw had this to say in a statement:
“Since its inception in 2016, White Claw has seen incredible growth, and we don’t plan to stop anytime soon. Our consumers crave more flavor and more variety, and that’s just what we’re delivering with White Claw Hard Seltzer Iced Tea. You combine the leader in hard seltzer with the ever-growing tea trend, and you’ve got a winner.”
Now, I’ll be the first to say I haven’t gotten on the hard seltzer bandwagon. But as a pretty big fan of Twisted Tea, I’m interested to see how this will play out. The following White Claw has established over the past five years is obvious, and if you’re a huge seltzer fan, this will be a great addition if you’re looking for a new taste to pound over the summer.
Most importantly, it’ll get you drunk, and there will be plenty of boozing going on this spring and summer after the last year we all endured.
