According to CBS News, a hunter in Germany has displayed a block of ice containing a fox that he says fell into the frozen Danube and drowned/froze – he wants to make others aware of the dangers of an icy river such as this one.

Franz Stehle’s family owns a hotel in Fridingen, and that’s exactly where he chose to put the frozen fox on display (back in 2017) for all to see and marvel at.
He says this wasn’t the first time it happened, and it won’t be the last.
