She done did it.

Miranda has been teasing this project with fellow Texans Jon Randall and Jack Ingram all week, and today, the cat is out of the bag.

Dubbed “The Marfa Tapes,” a collection of 13 new songs were recorded out in Marfa, Texas, in their rawest of forms. According to Miranda, you can hear the wind blowing and the cows mooing.

“Announcing The ‘Marfa Tapes.’

A project by Jack Ingram, Jon Randall and me. Recorded in Marfa, TX. They’re raw. You can hear the wind blowing, the cows mooing. We wanted you to feel like you were right there with us, sitting around the campfire, escaping the world, disappearing into the music.

First song, “In His Arms,” out at Midnight ET tonight. Album out May 7th.”

The news also comes on the heels of more Miranda Lambert news… she’s opening a bar in downtown Nashville called Casa Rosa.

Watch the Texas trio perform “Tin Man” together.
