This is what the world needs.

More good news.

Today, Dolly Parton got her COVID vaccine, and as we all know, she must be protected at all costs. She’s a National Treasure in every sense of the phrase.

As for concerts, many big name artists have been flocking to Texas, and you can expect that to continue.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott eliminated the state mask mandate today, and also said all businesses could open at 100% capacity.

There is some light at the end of the tunnel, folks…

As for new music, it’s coming from the birthday boy, Luke Combs. Combs turned 31 today and as he thanked everyone for the birthday wishes said he’d be starting album #3 TOMORROW.

“Thanks for all the birthday wishes today y’all! Means a lot. Already had an awesome day. Starting record 3 tomorrow.”

More on Luke Combs:

Luke was in the news recently for speaking out on his prior Confederate Flag use, saying there was “no excuse.”

Mr. Yearwood (g aka Garth), went out of his way to compliment Combs and his approach to music and building fans last week.

Combs has had a career trajectory rarely, if ever, seen in country music and has broken a boatload of records in the process. Everything he puts out is a #1, and I don’t see that changing any time soon.

He recently announced his new single would be “Forever After All” – you can count on that one hitting the top spot as well.
