Nashville is finally opening up.

According to a press conference from Mayor Cooper on Thursday, Nashville will relax their COVID protocols beginning on March 1st.

Most notably, bars will now be open until 1am, have a capacity of 125 people per floor, and places like restaurants and museums will no longer have capacity limits. Additionally, outdoor gathering limits have been raised from 8 to 25 people, and events with Heath Department approval can have up to 1,000 people. Wedding capacity has also been increased to 125.

Mayor Cooper cites COVID numbers and the increase in vaccinations as the motivation for the change.
