Kid Who Beat The Living Hell Out Of Oklahoma WR Spencer Jones Speaks Out, GoFundMe Already Raised $40,000 For Him

The plot thickens…

Last weekend, we shared a story about an Oklahoma University WR/holder that got lit up like a Christmas tree during a bathroom bar fight at an on-campus bar. Spencer Jones, his name… rearranged, his face.

Of course when the news broke every body was going on about how Spencer was trying to be the “peacemaker” and how he was “viscously attacked,” but the video tells another story.

The camera never catches the beginning of an altercation, but it looks like a pretty run of the mill bathroom bar confrontation. Jones tells one guy with a bloody face, a much smaller guy with a bloody face, to “get the f*ck out” of there, while his friend continues to chirp.

Eventually, Jones’ friend gives one of the guys a shove and he’s come to find out in a matter of seconds that it was most likely the biggest mistake of his life.

Roll the tape…

WRECKED him… AND his buddy.

Jones spent four hours in surgery to repair his face and nearly lost his eye and the brutal beatdown… no word on the other dude but it didn’t bode well for him either.

Perhaps the cauliflower ears should’ve been a dead giveaway, but as it turns out, these two brothers are both experienced MMA fighters and now, they’re speaking out.

According to the New York Post, a GoFundMe has been started for Walker Brown, the guy who handed out that beatdown, and he says that he was “defending himself” in the fight and that he also tore his bicep in the melee.

“I am the guy in the bathroom fight video. I have laughed with the funny comments about my cowboy boots and cauliflower ear. I have not commented because there is an on-going investigation. I have been advised to get an attorney.

I am also facing a surgery from an injury I received while defending myself and will be looking at some unplanned medical bills and time off of work recovering from the surgery.

I will say that YES, there was something that occurred prior to the start of the video as my nose doesn’t bleed for no reason. After I hire an attorney, I will make a statement so you will know my side of the story. Thank you again for all of the support.”

More wild fight videos.

Brown’s attorney Steve Stice also adds:

“As always, there is more to the story than what is depicted in the video. What is not shown is the original assault and battery suffered by Mr. Brown at the hands of Mr. Jones and his friend shortly before the captured footage. As can be seen, my client’s nose and clothing were bloodied prior to the beginning of the video.

Mr. Brown was legally justified in defending himself in this matter. As a result, Mr. Brown received several injuries including a torn bicep which will require surgery. We will not make any further comment until the conclusion of the investigation by the authorities.”

As of right now, Brown’s GoFundMe has raised over $40,000 for his torn bicep.

But in all of this, a valuable lesson is to be learned… it’s a lesson as old as time really: Don’t pick on guys shorter than you because you think you’re a hot shot college football player. You didn’t catch a pass all year, but you definitely those hands. And now you got your face caved in by short kid in cowboy boots.

And while we don’t know what happened, we do know that Brown was already bleeding when the video started, and Jones and his crew were being tough guys. It looks an awful lot like the stereotypical bully getting his ass kicked by the little underdog kind of story. We don’t know for sure, but that’s what it looks like.

I suppose we’ll find out the truth soon enough…

Brown’s brother Braden, also a student at OU, was the other guy responsible for pummeling the dork in the turtleneck.
