It’s getting harder and harder to turn on the news lately.

According to TMZ, Lady Gaga’s dog walker, Ryan Fischer, was walking her three French bulldogs in Hollywood last night when two men jumped out of a car in an attempt to steal them. Ryan was shot in the chest and two of the three dogs, Koji and Gustav, were stolen. The third dog, Miss Asia, managed to escape.

Lady Gaga has reportedly offered a $500,000, “no questions asked” reward for the safe return of the two pups, although something tells me Ryan, who’s in the hospital right now with a bullet in his chest, might have a question or two. As will the LA detectives currently working the case.

However now, TMZ has acquired video surveillance footage of the armed robbery and it’s pretty damn disturbing.

You can see two men jump out of a car, yelling “give it up” and the struggle ensues. Ryan, doing everything he can to protect the dogs, screams for help, but once the robber gets impatient, he fires one shot at Ryan. Ryan immediately goes down, and these two scumbags jump into the backseat with the two pups.

It’s shocking, disgusting, and makes me want to move to a deserted island where there is no more news.

Here’s the video clip.

Warning: graphic

Her third dog was rescued by LAPD after it escaped.

Unfortunately, French bulldogs have been targeted by dog thieves as they command a very high price, sometimes as high as $10,000.

Ryan is reportedly recovering from his gunshot wound, in stable condition.

We can only hope that these pups are recovered and brought home soon.
