The classic, “Always on My Mind” has been recorded by everyone from Elvis to Willie Nelson.
Written by Wayne Carson, Johnny Christopher and Mark James, the unmistakable song has been featured in hit shows, commercials, and plenty more over the years.

For my money, nobody does it quite like Willie, but his insanely talented son Lukas went viral for a performance of the hit during a cruise (remember those?) a handful of years ago.
Pour a drink, and enjoy country.
Lukas also performed the theme song for the popular Netflix series, The Ranch, another song made famous by his father Willie.
That theme song of course was a cover of his father’s “Mammas Don’t Let You Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys.”
Originally written by the late great Ed Bruce, “Mammas” was eventually recorded by Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson for their 1978 duets album, Waylon & Willie.
So naturally for The Ranch theme song, Lukas had to get together with Waylon’s son Shooter for the remake.
At the time of this performance, the show had only been out for a couple weeks, but years later, The Ranch would go on to become one of Netflix’s most popular shows and a recording was eventually released right before the series finale.
