Daughter Of Lombardi Trophy Sculptor Wants Tom Brady To Apologize For Throwing It: “I Didn’t Sleep For Two Nights”

Oh, here we go…

According to Fox News 4, the daughter of the Lombardi Trophy sculptor is demanding an apology from Tom Brady, who she says “disgraced and disrespected” the football-shaped trophy then he threw it to TE Cameron Brate like it was a real football.

Lorraine Grohs is the daughter of Greg Grohs, the master silversmith at Tiffany and Company from 1967 to 1994. Greg sculpted the very first Vince Lombardi Trophy in 1966.

And listen to this… she can’t even sleep because she’s so mad.

“It just upset me that this trophy was disgraced and disrespected by being thrown as if it was a real football… I didn’t sleep for the past two nights because of this. I was that upset.

I personally would like an apology, not just to me and my family and the other silversmiths but to the fans, all the football fans the other team players.”

Imagine losing sleep over something like this?

I mean, it’s the 7-time Super Bowl winning quarterback, the best of all time, throwing it to a guy that’s paid to catch footballs professionally.

The thing only weighs 7 pounds AND they make a new one for each team… it’s not like the Stanley Cup where you have to give it back at the end of the year.

And let’s not forget this one minor detail… he CAUGHT IT. So what’s the problem?

More Super Bowl news

Tom had himself more than a few while celebrating his 7th Super Bowl ring… and who can blame him?

Then again, he’s in his forties and barely ever drinks so it probably doesn’t take much. Probably had himself a nice hearty breakfast of sprouts and Swiss mountain air too. Either way, congrats to Tom, Gronk and the rest of the Bucs on a well-deserved Super Bowl celebration.

And by the way, I’m entirely confident that a drunk Tom Brady would be infinitely better than whoever the Bears decide to drag out on the field there next year.

In the latest edition of Mean Tweets, Jimmy Kimmel took the opportunity to place the heat solely on the shoulders of the great Tom Brady.

“Tom Brady is one of the all-time NFL greats, which means he also gets some all-time hate. But Tom is a very good sport, so we asked him to read a bunch of terrible things written about him on Twitter and he did so enthusiastically, proving that he’s even the GOAT of Mean Tweets.”

And the dog line? Too far… too far.
