Most people my age grew up watching Boy Meets World.
I liked it. Wasn’t obsessed with it. And thought it was slightly overrated.
However, “Topanga” (Danielle Fishel) was the first crush for many boys back in the day (Pink Ranger was up there, Shania too), while the ladies loved what “Cory” (Ben Savage) brought to the table.
The two have reunited in the form of a rom-com style commercial for Panera Bread ahead of Valentine’s Day. Personally, I think Panera has gone down hill over the years. I don’t even know what’s going on when I walk into one anymore – lots of confusion and people wandering around not knowing where to order.
They needed a boost. They needed a Hail Mary if you ask me to get things back on track. Maybe this is it?
Meh, I still probably don’t want a flatbread from there, but at least Topanga and Cory are back to give the lonesome some hope.
