Truly Launches World’s First Hard Seltzer Iced Tea

A row of different colors of batteries

Everybody is trying to up their game this year in the hard seltzer department.

Bud Light just launched their new Bud Light Seltzer Lemonade, Michelob is in the mix with a spicy pineapple flavor, and even Costco released their own Kirkland Signature brand.

And now Truly is changing it up with the release of their new Iced Tea Hard Seltzer.

Made with Truly hard seltzer and iced tea, the 5% ABV, low calorie drink will come in four flavors: Strawberry, Lemon, Raspberry and Peach.

“With each innovation, we’re pushing the boundaries of what drinkers expect from hard seltzer,” said Casey O’Neill, Senior Product Development Manager at The Boston Beer Company. “We spent eight months testing more than 250 iterations to land on the Truly Iced Tea launching today and can’t wait to finally share it with our drinkers.”

Truly’s new hard seltzer tea is the first product of its kind according to Lesya Lysyj, CMO of The Boston Beer Company.

“As the hard seltzer category continues to explode, we’re excited to bring another first-to-market product to our drinkers and fuel their discovery through new flavors. Truly believes in inclusivity and that no one is just one flavor, which is why we’re once again expanding our portfolio to offer a flavor for everyone. Truly Iced Tea is another testament to the mega-brand we’re building and our relentless innovation, and trust us, it will be your cup of tea.”

The new launch hit shelves nationwide in January, and is available in variety 12-packs as well as 6-packs.
