What a time to be an Eric Church fan.

I’ll tell you right now, I got those three white vinyl pre-ordered, but through the nature of my work, I’ve already had the three albums sent to me. Am I going to listen to them? Fuck no… I’m fully invested in getting the full fan experience, the way Eric and the team drew it up.

That being said, when new tracks are released to the public, you can bet your ass I’m going to listen to them. And tomorrow, we’re getting two brand new ones.

“Lynyrd Skynyrd Jones,” a cut from the Soul record, will be released tomorrow. Penned solely by Casey Beathard, it tells the story of a young, mixed-race kid whose mom got pregnant at a Lynyrd Skynyrd concert. And while the boy never met his dad, there’s a pretty cool twist ending that I’m not gonna spoil.

Here’s a taste of the chorus:

“Lynyrd Skynyrd Jones
Hailed from Gadsden, Alabama
Born to carry on
Who his mama was a fan of
Don’t ask me no questions
And I won’t tell you no lies
That’s what she always told him
Right up till the day she died .”

The second is “Lone Wolfe” from the Church Choir-exclusive album.

Will this be available on streaming services tomorrow? I don’t think so, but I’m not really sure how it all works.

Heart will be available everywhere on Friday, April 16th and Soul will hit shelves on Friday, April 23rd. & will only be available in vinyl, and exclusively to Church Choir members, on Tuesday, April 20th.
