Eric Church To Release New Song “Heart On Fire” TOMORROW

After months and months and months of speculation… double album, triple album, documentary, etc… we finally have the plan.

Three albums, one of which is a fan club exclusive, as well as limited-edition white vinyl copies for the Church Choir members, Eric is calling this the greatest collection of songs in his entire career:

“The interesting thing about this process is that Jay kept asking me the last three or four days, ‘Are we done?’ and at that time I didn’t know what the project was. I kept saying ‘God, this is going to be really hard. There’s a lot here. Is this a double album? And if it’s a double album, how do we leave out these five or six songs?’

I am the hardest critic on making sure every song deserves to be on the record, and I beat this thing to death going ‘this can’t be that good.’ But, it was just a special, special time and a special, special project that I think will be among our best.”

We’ve already heard two songs from each album, Heart, &, and Soul… and tomorrow, Eric will be back with another brand new one from the Heart Record.

Titled “Heart On Fire,” it’s one of only two songs from the entire project that were written solely by Eric himself (the previously performed “Jenny” being the other). Reminiscent of the classic rock styling of “Desperate Man,” this one is here to set the tone for entire album.

“A turned up radio but the static was heavy
Couldn’t make out any words but ‘take me to the levy’
That look on your face was full of wild desire
I’m soakin’ my soul in gas and settin’ my heart on fire.”

Heart will be available everywhere on Friday, April 16th and Soul will hit shelves on Friday, April 23rd. & will only be available in vinyl, and exclusively to Church Choir members, on Tuesday, April 20th. Pre-orders for all three albums begin next Friday, January 29th. Pre-order starts tomorrow (today for fan club members).

GET EXCITED.
