Remember when you actually had to watch the Super Bowl to see the ads? I liked it better that way…
With the matchups set for Super Bowl LV, we’re already starting to get a taste of what we can expect from the commercials. Of course, by now you’ve probably heard that Budweiser, along with Pepsi, Coke and a few other Super Bowl regulars, won’t even be participating this year, but Sam Adams is taking the opportunity to troll one of their competitors.
The new Wicked Hazy IPA ad features “Your Cousin From Boston” unhitching the iconic Budweiser Clydesdales right before all hell breaks loose. Unfortunately for most of country however, this spot will only air in the New York and Boston areas.
Seeing this, maybe Budweiser will rethink their plan to skip the Super Bowl for the first time in 37 years… think they can throw an ad together in a week? I was a fan of the Miller Lite/Bud Light wars from 2019.
Well, until they started suing each other…
