Carrie Underwood Releases Trailer For Upcoming Gospel Album, ‘My Savior’

Take ’em to church.

Carrie Underwood recently announced her plans to release a Gospel album this year, and today, she’s officially revealing some more details.

Titled My Savior, the project is a companion to her recently released Christmas album, My Gift, and will consist of classic Gospel hymns that she grew up singing in church. Produced by her Cry Pretty co-producer David Garcia, he began his career in Christian music, earning ASCAP’s Christian Music Songwriter of the Year twice, and is also a nine-time Dove Award winner.

“It’s been such a blessing to make music like this, inspirational music that is near and dear to my heart.

These two albums have been on my musical bucket list since the beginning of my career and were planned long before the events of the past year, but somehow it feels like the perfect time to share these beloved songs with the world.”

Just in time for Easter, My Savior is set to drop on March 26th.
