This Old Taco Bell Commercial With Johnny Cash Is A Work Of Art

My God, it’s magnificent.

If there was ever a peak year for commercials, it had to be 1992.

You have the classic John Wayne and R. Lee Ermey Coors Banquet commercial, Alan Jackson and Clint Black’s Miller Lite spot, and then you have this one… the great Johnny Cash and Taco Bell.

Featuring a Johnny Cash original about everything you can get on the Taco Bell value menu for “just a little cash,” the ad takes us back to the days when you could get a taco for 59 cents, a MexiMelt for 79, and a combo burrito for less than a buck. Good times.

Johnny Cash and dirt cheap tacos… what a time to be alive.
