Kip Moore Debuts New Song “How High” From Upcoming Deluxe Album

We’re officially less than a month away from the release of Kip’s Wild World Deluxe record.

The album will feature four new songs including the already-released “Don’t Go Changing,” along with “Midnight Slow Dance,” “Man’s Gotta Do” and this brand new one, “How High.”

Written by Kip Moore himself along with Bobby Terry, Luke Dick and Westin Davis, “How High” is a familiar story… a love with the intoxicating and euphoric qualities of a drug high. But country music hasn’t heard it quite like this.

Featuring a driving beat and a muted guitar riff that bursts to life in the chorus, “How High” is fairly reminiscent of an old U2 tune. The arrangement itself mirrors that of a drug… it starts out slow, lifts you up to the moon, and brings you back down to the ground.

Here’s a taste of the chorus:

“It’s your eyes, it’s your touch
It’s tonight, it’s your love
It’s a ride and it’s a rush
It always feels just like a drug

Take me there, take me on
Let down your hair, anything I want
Yea I need ya like the air
Girl I swear you keep me stoned.”

Wild World Deluxe it set for release on February 12th, 2021.

The video is pretty cool too…

Kip used the new “Don’t Go Changing” music video to shine a spotlight on struggling music venues that have been negatively impacted by the Coronavirus shutdowns, and also to encourage fans to donate to Music Venue Alliance Nashville.

The organization works to help independent music venues survive during the pandemic.
