No, That Was Not Chuck Norris At The Capitol Riot, It Was “A Wannabe Look-Alike”

Internet man… as soon as something pops up, whether it’s true or not, it spreads like wildfire.

Last week, after the Washington DC protests turned violent and resulted in some members of the group storming and breaching the Capitol Building, the interwebs were hard at work trying to identify those that participated in the riot. But as you know, it doesn’t stop at identifying the bozos smashing windows, it’s anybody that was there, where they work, who they’re related to, their tweets from the second grade… I mean, the Devil works hard, but Twitter works harder.

Except sometimes… they’re flat out WRONG.

This tweet went viral, earning over 34,000 likes and nearly 17,000 retweets, condemning Chuck for participating in the Pro-Trump march, but as it turns out, that’s not Chuck at all. Chuck was nearly 1,500 miles away…

According to People, a Chuck Norris representative has confirmed that Chuck was safely at home in Texas:

“This is not Chuck Norris and is a wannabe look-alike although Chuck is much more handsome… Chuck remains on his range in Texas where he has been with his family.”

Norris is a longtime Republican, and did endorse Trump in the 2016 election (not the 2020 election), however at 80s years old, marching in violent protests and storming the gates of the Capitol is probably a bit out of his league. Then again, he’s Chuck Norris… who knows?

But also, does this guy look like he’s 80? Not at all….

And when you see the side by side, it’s really no comparison.

And c’mon this is Walker Texas Ranger we’re talking about…. Chuck is and always will be “for law and order.”
