Leave it to Dolly to keep on giving long after she’s gone… well, maybe.

In her new book Songteller: My Life in Lyrics, Dolly Parton revealed that she wrote and recorded a new song that was locked away at Dollywood, with instructions not to be released for 30 years.

According to TODAY, the idea came about in 2015 when she opened DreamMore Resort at Dollywood, but selecting one of her own songs to lock away proved to be pretty difficult for Dolly:

“That’s like burying one of my kids, putting it on ice or something, and I won’t be around to see it brought back to life… It’s just burning me up inside that I have to leave it there.”

And while the idea wasn’t hers, it was a bit strange thatshe wrote in her book that there is the possibility that she’s still around in 2045 to see the opening. She would have to live to be 99 though. Of course, if anyone in country music can do it, Dolly can.

“Anyway, it’s kind of weird or strange that they would ask me to write this mystery song. I don’t know if I want to live to be 100 or not. But you never know. I might and if I do, I’m going to be at that opening.”

So go ahead and mark the calendar for 2045… Dolly’s got a new song on the way.
