Beau Bennett was the star of The Ranch if you ask me.
Sam Elliott fit the role perfectly, delivering dad-isms throughout the seasons many of us can relate to, and grew up hearing.
His doctor scene was one of the best.
“You know when I take my truck in and there’s nothing wrong with it…they don’t charge me.”
DAD ZINGER.
Doctor: “I’d like you to cut back on red meat.”
Beau: “PASS.”
Doctor: “You’re also going to have to cut down on your drinking.”
Beau: “TRY AGAIN.”
Doctor: “What about stress? What do you do to reduce it?”
Beau: “EAT STEAK AND DRINK WHISKEY.”
What a character.
