Alex Trebek Delivered An Emotional Message Of Unity Before Final Episodes Of Jeopardy

Leave it to the great Alex Trebek to still find ways to touch our hearts from beyond the grave.

Alex’s final episodes of Jeopardy air this week and, and in typical classy Alex Trebek fashion, he started his final run of shows with an emotional message about unity, giving, compassion and resilience during these difficult times.

“Now, today, a different kind of message: This is the season of giving. I know you want to be generous with your family, your friends, your loved ones. But today, I’d like you to go one step further.

I’d like you to open up your hands and open up your heart to those who are still suffering because of Covid-19. People who are suffering through no fault of their own. We’re trying to build a gentler, kinder society. And if we all pitch in, just a little bit, we’re gonna get there.”

One of the best to ever walk the Earth. We still miss you Alex.

Of course, Alex passed away back in November after a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 80 years old.

And according to show producers, nobody had any idea he was going to deliver this speech.
