Take ’em to church.
Carrie’s first-career Christmas record My Gift has been a smashing success, and now, Carrie is following it up with a Gospel album titled My Savior.
Announcing the upcoming project on social media, Carrie wanted to keep the spirit of her last project going so she rolled that energy into a follow-up Gospel album, something that her fans have been asking for:
“I made an album called ‘My Savior’ which is hopefully just a little companion to ‘My Gift,’ and this album is full of gospel hymns that I grew up singing. I feel like you guys have kind of been asking me for a while to make an album like that because I’ve been lucky enough to do songs like that here and there along the way in my career. So that’s what I did.”
According to Carrie, My Savior should be arriving just in time for Easter.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and something NEW for the New Year. Praying for better days ahead. #MyGift #MySavior 😘 🎁✨🙏 pic.twitter.com/AuSs7i8xB7

Like she said, Carrie has performed a number of gospel tunes over her career, her duet of “How Great Thou Art” featuring Vince Gill might be one of the best.
