Takin’ it back to 1986.
34 years ago today, George Strait released “Ocean Front Property,” a song that would eventually go on to become his 10th career number one single.
Written by Dean Dillon, Hank Cochran and Royce Porter, “Ocean Front Property” was released in 1986 as the lead single (and title track) from his 1987 album Ocean Front Property. That album also featured fellow #1 hits like “All My Ex’s Live In Texas,” and “Am I Blue.”
And the rest is history.
