Bulletin board material is a phrase often brought up in sports.

It’s referring to something that happened to give extra motivation to an opponent before a game. Well, today we found out that Clemson Coach, Dabo Swinney gave Ohio State some A+ bulletin board material ahead of their Sugar Bowl matchup.

Swinney, who’s team is getting ready to play Ohio State University in the College Football Playoff on New Year’s Day didn’t hide his feelings about the program. Dabo ranked Ohio State 11th…

Before the playoff rankings even came out on Saturday afternoon, Swinney made it very clear that he had no interest in having Ohio State who only played six games in the playoff. In a recent interview on The Rich Eisen Show, he shared his thoughts about the Buckeyes light schedule.

“I mean, you look at Florida and Texas A&M and Alabama. I mean, these teams are going to have 11 games this year…It’s incredible and I think the Big Ten had the same opportunity and they chose not to play, and I think the only reason they ended up playing is because of the leadership of the SEC and the ACC and the Big 12, and have demonstrated that we can do it and do it in a safe way.”

Swinney is out on an island on this one, as he is the only one of the 61 coaches polled to have OSU ranked outside of the top-six. If you want to make a case for Texas A&M getting in over the Buckeyes, okay maybe you can sell me on that… but to have them outside the top-10?! That’s just crazy.

Even LeBron James chimed in with his reaction on Twitter to the outlandish take from Dabo Swinney
