Jon Pardi Joins Dillon Carmichael For Acoustic Performance Of New Single “Hot Beer”

If you’re still sleeping on Dillon Carmichael… wake ya ass up.

The nephew of both John Michael Montgomery and Eddie Montgomery, Dillon Carmichael has country music running through his blood. And a voice as good as anybody coming up in the industry right now.

Written by Hardy and produced by Jon Pardi, Carmichael’s new single “Hot Beer” is the quintessential country breakup song. In country music, you tend to do a breakup tune in one of two ways: 1) cry your eyes out, or 2) funny… Carmichael’s is the latter.

“I heard this tune and it had me at the line about “Uncle Bubba’s dip spit. One thing that made it even better was that this song was written by my buddy Hardy, aka “The Redneck,” along with the talented Ashley Gorley, Hunter Phelps and Ben Johnson. I also found out one of my all time favorites, Jon Pardi, wanted to produce the song, and he crushed it! In all seriousness… nothing about this song is serious.”

Recently, producer Jon Pardi joined Carmichael on stage for an acoustic performance of the new song at Nashville’s The Listening Room.
