Josh Turner Calls On Randy Travis For “Forever And Ever, Amen” Live From Alan Jackson’s Bar

I have to say, out of all the albums that came out this year, Josh Turner’s cover album Country State Of Mind keeps finding a way back into the rotation.

He’s been sharing a few live performance videos recently, all of which have been filmed from AJ’s Good Time Bar in downtown Nashville. He’s done Alan’s “Midnight In Montgomery,” Hank Jr.’s “Country State Of Mind,” and more, but for this new one, he brought himself a guest.

The great Randy Travis.

Of course, Randy sings on the album as well for “Forever And Ever, Amen,” his first trip to the vocal booth since his stroke, but you know Josh just had to get him on the Zoom for that last note.

And that right there… that’s some damn country music.
