‘The Voice’ Finalist Ian Flanigan Performs Jamey Johnson’s “In Color”

Solid choice.

I’m not much for these singing competition shows, but every once in a while, you see somebody come out and do something pretty cool. Like that young kid with holes in his boots that performed Cody Jinks’ “Cast No Stones” on American Idol.

Last night during The Voice, finalist Ian Flanigan took the stage for two final performances before a winner will be declared in tonight’s finale. The cover song he chose? Jamey Johnson’s “In Color.”

And while he’s no Jamey Johnson (nobody is), you gotta respect an artist brining some real deal country music into the national spotlight. I mean, does it get much better than “In Color?”
