SNL’s Melissa Villaseñor Delivers A+ Dolly Parton Impression For “Weekend Update”

Everybody loves Dolly Parton.

And let’s be honest, she might be the MVP of this shit sandwich year we’re having in 2020.

On last night’s episode of Saturday Night Live, Melissa Villaseñor debuted her knockout Dolly Parton impression during Weekend Update, even performing a “Jolene,” inspired version of “Jingle Bells.”

After downplaying her Dolly Parton costume to host Colin Jost, she eventually admitted to what we all already knew… everybody loves Dolly Parton.

“Yeah, news flash. I want to be Dolly. Who doesn’t? She’s a great singer. She writes her own songs. She donated a million dollars to the vaccine. Plus, there was a news story this week that said she saved a kid from getting hit by a car. Which made me mad, because I was speeding up to hit him… I’m kidding.”

Dolly/McConaughey 2024… who heard it?
