Miranda Lambert Sings The Hell Out Of Merle Haggard’s “Misery & Gin” For All-Star Tribute Concert

Joshua Timmermans

There’s something about Miranda Lambert and heartbreak country that just soothes the soul.

Back in April of 2017 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, some of the biggest stars in music came together to honor the music and legacy of the great Merle Haggard. Dubbed Sing Me Back Home: The Music Of Merle Haggard, that tribute concert has finally been recorded and released.

Featuring Ronnie Dunn, Jamey Johnson, Willie Nelson, Jake Owen, Dierks Bentley, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Richards, Kenny Chesney, Aaron Lewis, Loretta Lynn, Lucinda Williams, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and more, it was a once-in-a-lifetime kind of event.

And when it was Miranda’s turn to tip her cap to the Hag, she went with an all-time classic… “Misery and Gin.”

Here’s a live video from the concert.
