Not only did she donate a cool million bucks to Vandy to help get the Moderna COVID vaccine in the works, but she’s on the verge of doing the cover of Playboy again, for her 75th birthday.
And now, according to WWD, she is gearing up to launch her own fragrance line next year. In collaboration with Edge Beauty, Parton is releasing a wide variety of signature products, including fragrances, as well as products designed for hair, clothes, skin, and home.
“We’re looking at a marketing mix that cascades from luxury to mass, but in essence, is offering a luxury product at a variety of price points,” says Steve Mormoris, chief executive officer.
Of the new collaboration, Dolly says the fragrance has always been a part of her life.
“Fragrance has always played a major role in my life. I wear my own combination of scents every day. Developing my own brand and scent with Edge Beauty has been an amazing experience, and I am looking forward to becoming a big part of the fragrance community.”
Look for the line to hit store shelves in the spring of next year.
