South Dakota Man Frees Buck Tangled In Barbed-Wire Fence With Well-Placed Gunshot

Channeling his inner Ted Nugent

South Dakota native Riley Norton was driving down the road when he came upon a buck that was tangled up in some barbed wire. With his antlers locked up in there pretty good, the buck was sure to die on that fence if somebody didn’t come along and free him.

How do you free a buck without taking an antler to the throat? A well-placed shot.

Sure, this buck is gonna be missing a bit of antler, but it’s better than losing his life. Plus, for those of you not familiar, deer shed their antlers every year and grow new ones.

Don’t try this at home kids…

If you remember back to earlier this year, Ted Nugent shared an old video of a similar experience where he came upon two bucks that had locked antlers and couldn’t get them unlocked.

One of the bucks died in the scuffle, but Ted was able to use his handgun, and a well-placed shot, to free the surviving buck.
