In a year where the news has been just God-awful every time you turn it on, this is the kind of news you love to see.
Residents of the Continental Manor Nursing Home in Blanchester, Ohio, got the chance to get a little “deer hunting” in this season. Staff members dressed up like deer and ran through some Christmas trees while the residents shot Nerf guns at them.
The video has since gone viral, reminding folks everywhere that the little things can go a long way.
It’s not bingo with Matthew McConaughey, but still looks like a pretty good time for these folks who are probably pretty bored right now. With visitations virtually off-limits during the holiday season (and pretty much for the past 8 months or so), you know the residents are looking anything to cheer them up a bit.
Plus, who doesn’t love a good Nerf fight?
