Riley Green Treats Fans To Acoustic Performance Of Unreleased “They Don’t Make Them Like That No More”

I can’t even keep up with the running total of unreleased Riley Green songs anymore, but it’s A LOT.

His Golden Saw Series saw acoustic performance of fan favorites, both released and unreleased, and even a handful of brand new songs. One of those unreleased fan favorites was written late last year, titled “They Don’t Make Them Like That No More.”

Alongside two talented songwriters, Channing Wilson and Trent Tomlinson, Riley recently treated fans to an acoustic performance of the new song, one that he’s only played a time or two before.

Here’s a taste of the chorus:

“They don’t make em’ like that no more
Some things you can’t find in a discount store
Just somethin bout bein hand made
And bought with cash on a firm hand shake
Like old Zebcos and pocket knives
Shotgun rifles and four-wheel drives
Like these wore out pair of boots that my daddy wore
They don’t make em’ like that no more.”

Good stuff.

And of you missed it, make sure to check out the full performance as well.
