Chris and Mike, Mike and Chris… I’m diggin’ the hell outta this Chris Stapleton, Mike Campbell connection.
If you didn’t know, Mike Campbell is the longtime guitar player for Tom Petty. He’s played with Fleetwood Mac and now, he has his own band called The Dirty Knobs.
And recently, he collaborated on Chris Stapleton’s new album Starting Over, contributing to both songwriting and guitar shredding on “Watch You Burn” and “Arkansas.”
And then Chris returned the favor, cowriting “Fuck That Guy” and lending those killer vocals on “Pistol Packin’ Mama” for The Dirty Knobs’ new album Wreckless Abandon.
