On this date in 2004 the “Malice at the Palace” became the craziest fight anyone ever witnessed during an NBA game.
Just A+ chaos from every angle.
Ron Artest (or Metta World Peace or Metta Sandiford-Artest) gave us some kind of highlight reel here, but it’s the poor dude’s face as Artest runs into the crowd that still makes me laugh. The guy legit seems to see his life flash before his eyes…to make matters worse, Artest went after the wrong guy (someone threw a drink), but they made up.
