Justin Moore Takes A Well-Deserved Shot At CMAs Ahead Of Awards Show

We’ve said this a bunch, and I’ll say it again…

Justin Moore is one of the most underrated country artists out there, especially in the mainstream.

He’s also one of the nicest, most down to Earth guys we’ve ever met in the country music world. We had him on the podcast back in June, and had a great time drinking beers, talking life and music, family, and laughing about a bunch of crazy shit – if you missed it, it’s a good one.

Now that I think of it, both Moore(s) are criminally underrated, Kip and Justin (no, they’re not related).

But back to Justin.

When Morning Hangover tweeted Justin, questioning how the f*ck the CMAs weren’t having him perform “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home” given that it’s Veterans Day, he replied with a polite, yet well-deserved, zinger.

“Haha. Thanks brother. Playing it would be awesome. But, I’d settle for being a part of it at all at this point. Apparently, a 13 year career, 15 hit records (9 number 1’s), and nearly 5 million albums sold don’t get it done. Love country radio though!”

Solid points, Justin.

Oh, but don’t worry people! There will be a Justin performing on the CMA Awards…Justin Bieber (with Dan + Shay). Seriously? Seriously.

We’re going to Tweet our faces off tonight for the awards show. DO NOT MISS OUT. Follow @WhiskeyRiff here.

To all the Veterans, thank you.
