I mean, how could he not?

Announced today, Chris Stapleton is officially joining the lineup for the 54th Annual CMA Awards this coming Wednesday. He’ll be performing his new single “Starting Over,” the title track from his upcoming album.

Additional performances include Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, Luke Combs, and more, as well as a Charlie Daniels tribute featuring Brothers Osborne, Jason Aldean, Ashley McBryde and Dierks Bentley.

Chris’ 4th studio album, Starting Over, is set for release this Friday, November 13th.

It features the previously released lead single and title track, “Starting Over,” another new one titled “Cold,” and the full throttle road trip anthem “Arkansas.”

And after a quick look through the tracklist, we’ll also find the longtime fan favorite “You Should Probably Leave,” the gut-wrenching “Maggie’s Song,” and three covers: two Guy Clark songs and one by John Fogerty.
