Luke Combs Kicks Off Cup Series Championship With Performances Of “Blue Collar Boys” & “Angels Workin’ Overtime”

Is there a better way to kick off a Cup Series race?

Ahead of today’s NASCAR Cup Series Championship, Luke Combs started the festivities with a performance of a couple of tunes from his sophomore smash record, What You See Is What You Get.

But, it wasn’t any of his hit singles… no, Luke gave us an acoustic taste of some of his deep cuts, “Blue Collar Boys” and “Angels Workin’ Overtime.”

NASCAR fan favorite Chase Elliott went on to take the checkered flag, making him the 3rd youngest champion of all time. Meanwhile, 7-time champion Jimmie Johnson finished 5th in the last race of his legendary career.

Take it away Luke.
