After nearly a week of counting ballots, Joe Biden has been declared the winner of the 2020 Presidential Election.
Of course, lawsuits will be filed, and challenges will be made, but as it stands, Joe Biden is set to become the 46th President of the United States.
And country stars, from both sides of the aisle, had some thoughts.
Brothers Osborne, Maren Morris, Kacey Musgraves, Travis Tritt and more all shared their reactions to Twitter following the big news. Here are some of their thoughts:
Good to see the American flag being flown again instead of being burned. Now, can we please shut up and stop the bitching, moaning and complaining, and get back to conversation, common sense and the realization that we’re free, and blessed, and a badass country. 🙏🏻

Remember in little league when, no matter the result, we had to walk on the field and slap the opposing team’s hand and say “good game”? Half were happy, half were sad, then everyone got to eat pizza afterwards. I think we should all eat pizza tonight.

No matter how abusive, rude, profane or intolerant the left is, I refuse to stoop to their lowlife level. God bless America.

I haven’t wanted to talk about who is winning the election for fear of jinxing things but how incredible will it be when @KamalaHarris becomes the first ever woman Vice President!? someone for our daughters AND sons to look up to

I feel like my terrible shroom trip finally ended today and a kind friend was like “here’s some water and an unlimited stream of Office episodes. It’s gonna be ok.”

The most hopeful and most calming thing for me is the way both @CNN and @FoxNews are speaking intelligently, compassionately, and focused on moving this country forward for all Americans. Talking about bringing this country together. We desperately need that. I’m feeling relieved
