Chris Cagle: One Of The Most Underrated Artists Of The 00’s

People forget how many heaters Chris Cagle delivered during his prime before retiring in 2015.

He was a guy who always marched to the beat of his own drum while making no apologies for who he was.  Chris wasn’t crazy about the limelight, but that’s what made him relatable to his die hard fans as his career began to take shape.

Cagle didn’t meet the industry standards of image, lyrical content or self promotion.  In today’s country climate, this is a death sentence for mainstream success. As we sit here today, I think we’re all relieved to see a resurgence of legitimate country music in the mainstream.

If you’re missin’ Cagle, here’s a shot of nostalgia from one of the most underrated artists of the 00’s.

“I Breathe In, I Breathe Out”

“Laredo”

“Chicks Dig It”

“Miss Me Baby”
