Get Ready For Game Day With Tim Tebow’s “The Promise” Speech From Their 2008 Championship Season

College Football and Halloween? Let’s have a Saturday, boys.

At noon, we have Boston College taking on Clemson but with a twist. Clemson quarterback, Trevor Lawrence will be out due to COVID so that’s something worth noting if you were looking to bet the game. Ohio State and Penn State later tonight should be a good matchup as well.

So let’s get you ready for a full slate of games by throwing it back to Tim Tebow’s famous promise speech from 2008.

After starting 3-0, Florida lost to Ole Miss 31-30. Tebow threw for a TD and ran for two more but he took a brunt of the responsibility for Florida’s upset loss.

At the end, Tebow got very emotional talking to the fans apologizing for the loss after their chances at an undefeated season were squandered. Well, Florida would go on to win every game the rest of the season including the National Championship Game.

Tim Tebow finished third in Heisman voting that year in one of the more famous runs in CFB history.

Legendary stuff from the Florida QB.
