Clemson stud quarterback Trevor Lawrence will miss this week’s game after testing positive for Coronavirus. Next week’s game against Notre Dame is up in the air as well.

Clemson Head Coach Dabo Swinney released the following statement:

“Trevor has authorized us this evening to announce that he has tested positive for COVID-19 and is now in isolation. He is doing well with mild symptoms but will not be available for this week’s game against Boston College.”

Lawrence is currently following protocols set forth by Clemson and the ACC. He went into isolation yesterday, and will stay there for the next 10 days, however he has made it clear that his symptoms are mild.

Backup QB D.J. Uiagalelei is expected to start in his place.
