The wait is over.
Bubba Wallace will officially be driving the black and red #23 Toyota for 23XI Racing next year, a team owned by Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin.
Pretty slick, eh?
“My main goal for 23XI Racing is to be competitive for a championship as soon as possible,” Jordan said in a statement. “Our partnership with Toyota and Joe Gibbs Racing gives us the equipment, resources and expertise to do it.”
Bubba and Denny revealed the new paint scheme today on CBS This Morning.
As a guy that grew up in Illinois, and a Chicago sports fan, I have to say… seeing a black and red #23 car in the Cup Series, one that is owned by Michael Jordan, is pretty damn cool.
