Let’s be honest, CMT Music Awards are kind of a joke. It’s all about music videos, which CMT only really airs at 3 in the morning, so who are we trying to kid? And as far as country awards shows go, it’s as gimmicky as it gets.
But that being said, Luke Combs once again showed everybody how it’s done, kicking off the show with a full throttle performance of “1, 2 Many,” featuring Brooks and Dunn.
And in typical Luke Combs fashion, he shotgunned a beer right there on stage.
You know you’re doing something right when you have Kix Brooks handing you beers on stage.
